In this paper we discussed about application of minerals in environmental science.. Furthermore, this talk highlights the significance of mineral chemistry in mitigating environmental pollution through the remediation of contaminated sites. Minerals' ability to sequester water- pollutants and facilitate the restoration of ecosystems underscores their potential in contributing to sustainable development goals.We also explores the role of mineral chemistry in fostering economic development, particularly in regions rich in mineral resources.
