Being kind is a trait every human being must imbibe. "World Kindness Day" is observed on 13 November. There is a strong correlation between kindness and mental health. We can show more understanding and concern for ourselves, just as we might if we wanted to help a friend. The pursuit of success and happiness all starts with kindness. As Confucius said, "Act with kindness, but do not expect gratitude."
