Becoming a mother is a unique ability and opportunity only women have. Welcoming a newborn is a joy and pleasure. Unfortunately, it is not for all. There are challenges in motherhood being safe. 11 April is observed as National Safe Motherhood Day. It is not merely a healthcare issue and reflects a society's commitment to the well-being and dignity of its women. As India progresses, the unwavering pursuit of safe motherhood for every woman must remain a national priority.
