International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination: Reparations, Racial Justice and Equality for People of African Descent

March 21 is an UN observation of  “International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination”.  It called for taking steps to eliminate racial discrimination. It is a work in progress for the UN and, for that matter, for the world. Discrimination haunts humanity and its manifestation differs. Often  the discrimination is systemic and subtle. Governments must take appropriate steps to eradicate discrimination. If actions do not yield results for decades, it is time to think differently and take steps to make the world devoid of discrimination.
