From Clerks to Creators: A Call to Ponder on the Quality of Engineering Education 

The narrative of India's progress has consistently been associated with its engineers, whether Visvesvaraya developed flood protection systems, M. S. Swaminathan initiated the Green Revolution through agri-tech interventions, or A. P. J. Abdul Kalam pioneered missile and space technology. Engineers, as opposed to labourers, have been instrumental in the construction of nations. The same mentality is necessary for the future. To address India's urgent issues, engineers must address climate resilience, digital inclusion, sustainable agriculture, rural infrastructure, healthcare technology, and renewable energy for 1.4 billion individuals.
