Mr K S Rama Krishna joined NIAS in 1990, as the Secretary to Dr Raja Ramanna, the founding Director of NIAS.
Mr Rama Krishna, as a keen learner, took interest in the IT field and is now in charge of IT Infrastructure at NIAS. He looks after the IT requirements of NIAS like purchase, planning, Network/System Administration and vendor development, etc.
Besides he also provides administrative support in conducting DST training programmes at NIAS. He has assisted in conducting various events at NIAS like the Associates’ Programme, Memorial Talks, etc.
He is the co-coordinator of the Wednesday Discussion Meeting along with Prof. Anindya Sinha.
His interests include photography, Carnatic classical music and Indian Vedic tradition and philosophy. He is a graduate in Arts with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. He has completed his Senior Grade in Shorthand and Typewriting.
