Abstract: The Global Politics team at NIAS published two annuals during January 2025 – NIAS Global Politics Annual and NIAS Conflict Annual. The team has been publishing Daily Briefs as a part of its area studies on the following: China, East Asia and Pacific; Pakistan; and Europe. It has also been publishing two weeklies – Conflict Weekly and The World This Week. Now it attempts to publish a quarterly under two broad themes – Global Politics and Global Conflicts. It aims to map five to eight big developments during the quarter, identify trends and prepare forecasts. The discussion will focus on the above – on global politics and conflicts during Jan-Mar 2025,leading to the publication of the first issue of two NIAS Quarterlies.
